I’ve taken some time away from the blog as I felt a little uninspired. I’ve also been enjoying running, completing a half marathon in Crystal Palace in February, Brighton marathon in April and the South Downs trail half marathon in June. October – December 2020: Bare root hedging and bulb planting

We’ve really hit the ground running in 2020. Over the Christmas break we decided – rather spontaneously – to lay a living willow hedge or ‘fedge‘ as they are known. Our boundary line is approximately 150ft long, so we’d discounted the idea of planting a traditional hedge due to the cost. We were able to pick up 360 willow rods
